About Me

I am one of the thousands of Baby Boomers that changed the dynamics of the US at every stage of our development.  All those empty schools you see now being converted to offices and apartments were built to accommodate the huge increase in class size as we went from elementary to middle school to high school.  I married my high school sweetheart and we raised two children who have now become parents and grandparents in their turn.  My sweetheart went Home to Heaven in 2019 so I am now trading in the dream we had together for a modified version that means I do the work here on earth and he watches over me from Jesus' side.  I hope you'll come along for the ride.

Expertise

My daughter found a Pentax K1000 on the beach on her honeymoon and gave it to me on Mother's Day.  The family story goes that she, thereby, created a monster.  True or not, it was the spark that started my journey in photography.  Much equipment, many classes, and thousands of rolls of film later, I am still excited to learn what I can do better.
